I was glad!

I love going to church and I hope you do too! Our Sunday Service is a real celebratory service in thanksgiving of what God is doing in our lives and the people around us. It was wonderful to go along to church and see people who had been coming along to Cell groups but never come to the church before.

Just thought I'd post a few photographs of the Living Word Church. The Living Word Church is a ministry founded in Maues 10 years ago! This is the church where I am working and serving. It is incredible to believe that the church was literally built by its members. Selling pizzas, tea towels and many other inventive ideas to finance the construction.

Our heart is to win Maues for the Lord and we are doing this through the Living Word School and working through small evangelist groups called Cell groups.

Yesterday we spent the morning painting the inside of the church and putting up the net and fish!

The verse over the fishing net is from Luke 5 vs 4 ...cast your nets!
